Nature makes us more social

To be in nature with your colleagues promotes harmony in the group.

There are many scientific articles that prove the positive effects of nature on human health: contact with nature helps us deal with stress, promotes physiological and psychological health.

An aspect that is discussed more and more and that I myself feel strongly about when guiding groups is the social effects of a nature-based experience.
Several studies show that being in contact with nature and experiencing the beauty of nature increases our connection to others and our ability to see things from others’ perspectives. Nature helps us shift focus from ourselves to others and the collective. Nature gives us the feeling of community.
Therefore, nature-based programs will help work teams with e.g. conflict management and inclusion and building a strong and harmonious community with colleagues who care for each other.
From there, all possibilities open up for a dynamic and efficient team.
